So fear not, I've done it, its not so bad! :) when do you leave for Togo again? So many dates flying around I have taken to forgetting most :)
DISCLAIMER: This is my blog about my life as a Peace Corps Volunteer. The contents of this site are mine and mine alone and do not reflect any position of the Peace Corps or the U.S. government.
My Peace Corps invitation: Togo, Community Health & AIDS Prevention (CHAP) Volunteer, June 2008
My Story: After 4.5 years at Georgia Tech, I FINALLY graduated in December '07 with a B.S. in Psychology (haha oh the irony!), minors in International Affairs and Spanish, and I was pre-med.
The "new" plan is to serve in the Peace Corps for the next two years and then come back and get my masters in public health focusing in international health. After that I want to go to medical school so that I can practice medicine in developing countries (I hate the term "3rd World". They are developing and in the same world as us!). I want to practice medicine, run health clinics, start health education programs in rural communities, and maybe even help develop more efficient healthcare systems for governments. But all of that could change so who knows? Maybe I'll run away to Argentina instead and work at a vineyard...
